the opening narrator was a poor choice to start this out, IMO, due to the sickly raspiness of her voice. however, that only continues for a short time before other narrators take over. give it a look. that’s my home. something pretty big has to happen for me to stay away too much longer. i mean, IDEALLY i would have a job that afforded me and required me to be in CHI for a week, in LA for a week, in ATL or Austin or Detroit or something for a week, and then back to BUF for a couple weeks, and so on… not sure something like that exists, but i’ll certainly look for it. i could easily live in a tri-city holding pattern for at least several more years. i do love both CHI and LA so much, but. i love Buffalo the most. and it’s simply been too long, and i’m completely, and UTTERLY, burned out w/ the pattern my life has taken these last five years. i’m really excited at the idea of spending some of my better adult years in the city, before ultimately settling down in my artist retreat/goat farm/whiskey distillery. plans are being made and actions are being taken…
but of course, if something BIG happens in between now and then, i’m always open to modification of said plans…
